Your company is your biggest asset. Who’s looking after you?
Founders spend years building value they can’t spend. We look after the person behind the business: your cash flow, your protection and your wealth beyond the company.
The founder’s problem
Most founders have almost everything in one asset: shares in their own company. Those shares pay no dividend, can’t easily be sold and can fall in value through no fault of yours. Meanwhile, your salary is modest, your super is thin and your family depends on a business that depends on you.
That’s a lot of risk in one place. Good personal advice doesn’t slow your business down. It makes sure one bad year for the company isn’t a bad decade for your family.
We work alongside your accountant and lawyer. Tax structures, company matters and legal documents stay with them. We focus on your personal financial plan and make sure it fits with theirs.
Advice for every stage of the journey

- Key person and buy-sell insurance for business succession

After a sale or liquidity event

Questions founders ask us
“Should I diversify before we exit?”
Usually you can’t sell much before an exit, but you can stop adding to the risk. We look at what you hold outside the company and how to build it steadily.
“What do I do with the money after a sale?”
First, nothing rushed. Then a plan: what you need for the next few years, what you can invest for the long term, and how to spread it so no single investment can undo what you built.
“How much super can I put in after selling?”
It depends on your age, your total super balance and what you’ve contributed before. The 2026–27 non-concessional cap is $130,000 a year, and some people can bring forward up to three years.
“Am I insured properly for a founder?”
Standard cover often misses what matters to business owners. We look at personal cover and business cover together, so your family and your co-founders are both protected.
